6/27 The entry closing date for the Club and Junior State Championships has been extended to July 14th. Both Lefties and Righties are needed for the Club Championship.

6/9 Congratulations to Members Jim Dalton, Vic Frediani, Mike O'Brien and Rick Rodriguez for shooting a cool 125 at Deer Ridge to move on to the Sectional Qualifying for the NCGA Associate Club Championship.

6/8 Jeff Hales the PGA Professional representing the Association will be conducting four Junior Golf Camps this summer for boys and girls (all ages) at the Franklin Canyon Golf Course. For the dates and more information go to the Junior Page.

6/6 The Entries for both the Club Championship and 51st Western States Lefty/Righty Team Championship are now posted on the Tournament Page. The Club Championship will be played July 26-27 at Shadow Lakes and Deer Ridge in Brentwood. The Western States will be played September 2-4 at Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach.

6/6 The 2009 James Cup Challenge is set for February 17-19 (Tues.-Thurs.) at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino, which was the site of the 2004 JCC. Player Registration and Welcome Reception will be on Monday the 16, which is Presidents' Day. For more information go to the James Cup Page.

We have received a number of inquires regarding the confirmation of tournament entries. The policy is all entries are accepted unless a member is notified by the Tournament Chairman that their entry has not been accepted or they have been put on the standby list. For tournaments having sequential tee times, the member will receive a postcard or an e-mail message with their starting time a week or so before the tournament. It is the members responsibility to notify their playing partner(s). The starting time for shotgun starts will be included with the entry, no further notification will be given.
